The Venue

No two of our weddings are ever the same such is the magic of Newlands Bishop Farm, a flexible back drop for you to fill as you require – which really does mean your special day.

Your exclusive use of the farm gives you –

  • Access to the main farm building which includes toilets, services, electricity, large function room plus two smaller rooms and ample free car parking. Use of the attractive garden area, decking with stretched tent off the main building, plus BBQ available on Sunday
  • For games, photographs and to keep the children occupied, there are extensive landscaped gardens which include a cottage garden, a recycled garden, woodland walk, an orchard and a beach garden with a large walk in sandpit for children to play in.

The bar and music can be open from 12 noon until 11pm on a Saturday although we can apply for an extension until 12 midnight at an additional charge.
Please note that your guests will not be allowed to bring their own alcohol. All drinks must only be supplied by us or yourselves and brought onto site the day before.

There is no camping on site so everyone has to leave the premises. We have preferential rates at the Crowne Plaza, Solihull. You are welcome to use the facility on the Sunday to have a BBQ or meet friends and family for food etc.

The site is yours for the weekend so most people decide to come back the following day for another get together with all their friends and family who have stayed overnight locally.

As a venue the farm boasts a café with its own garden which leads on to a flat 3 acre field. This field looks onto a further 30 acres which the farm rents to graze their horses and sheep on throughout the year.  As well as this we also have formal gardens, including a beach and cottage garden, as well as many more areas to have original photographs taken.

Located close to the NEC in Catherine de Barnes, the farm is in an ideal central location for guests whilst remaining in the quiet countryside. Toilets and electricity are already on site so no need to hire in extra!

What’s included?

Hire of site Friday 4pm – Sunday evening 4pm- this includes a triple hat tipi, from summer 2022, which has seating approx. 120 plus guests (150 evening guests), lighting/ flooring, tables and benches and wooden dance floor in the tipi, access to main building which includes toilets, large function room, plus two smaller rooms, not including the kitchen, plus outdoor BBQ on Sunday only, electricity, car parking and access to gardens on site.
